It would be OK in North America if the signal gets there. Some people say that you can't get it because it is for South America. But if you go to lynsat maps, there is a map that apparently there is a Ku band footprint for North America, but I have no precise reports from people from US or Canada. A guy from Canada says he could get this satellite with a 6 feet antenna. Other guy was going to buy a 83 centimeters diameter dish and try to hunt this bird from New Jersey. This is what lyngsat recommend according with the table beside the map. I always knew that it was impossible to catch this bird.

This bird have many US channels like HBO family, other HBO movie channels, Nickelodeon, etc. Many of them are in English with subtitles in Spanish. You will have to see or test if lyngsat info is correct or not.

I wish somebody tell all of us if this satellite can be seen in North America.
