what would be the cause for a cw 800 to seem to be shutting down every 10 seconds or so? it runs fine then freezes then starts up again but the lights on the front panel shut off as well when it freezes. any suggestions for fixing this problem would be appreciated, i'd like to get this back in order for when it's back up.

have your tried to install a factory bin and then the current fix? my guess is that a piece of the program went astray while programming causing undesirable reactions.

Sounds like a possible power overload.
What type of lnb are you trying to power with your 800 ??
A triple lnb is a power hog and if you have a long run to the dish, you could suffer a voltage drop.Could also suffer the same problem if you have a bad run to the dish,bad connections or a poor ground.
Disconnect all cables from the box and restart the box.
Does it stay on with nothing plugged in ?? If it does, you know the problem is in a cable or connection.If not...its something with the box.
