Question CW800, 4x1 Chieta and 4x4 switches

Hi, I have a CW800 and a CW3000HD with dual tuner. I plan to aim at 110, 119 and 61.0 W. In other words, 3 sats for 3 receivers. I am going to use one 3x4, one 4x4 and three Chieta 4x1 switches. Since the 4x1 are the first after the receivers then the 4x4 and 3x4 connected to the lnb's ( legacy type), what are the setting in the antenna menu for the cw800? Do I have to select DiSEc, 4x4, 22khz off or on, etc. Any suggestion will be appreciated!

what kind of lnb's do you have and exactly what type/make of switches are you talking about for the 3x4 and 4x4 because if t hey are dp then you may not be able to add disqec 4x1's because the dp's are disqec switches already

what you really want are dual feed lnb's with zinwell 6x8 switch which will switch 3 sats to 8 receivers..

I have legacy lnb's two circular and one linear (non DP). 4x4 are from Zinwell and 3x4 are from Perfect Vision. 4x1 are from Chieta. 6x8 two flex ports in addition to the other usable first 4 connectors where you can conect two dual output lnb's. Flex ports cannot be used with other lnb.

the zinwells are a tone switch and you can use disqec 4x1 or legacy sw switches with these.
So it looks like you can use the disqec switches to select the different zinwell and if the perfect vision switches are not disqec controlled .then you would set your tone switch to shift the zinwell and perfect vision switches and I think this is what you are asking.

I know nothing about the perfect vision switches, how do you shift them?

110 connected to zinwell and 119 connected to zinwell connected to port 1 of each disqec switch and perfect vision connected to port 2 each of disqec switch

settings-sat 110-tone off disqec 1/0/0
settings-sat 119-tone on disqec 1/0/0

tone on or off depends on which sat is connected to the A port or the 22khz port, here the 110 is connected to the A port and 119 to the 22khz port

settings-sat 61-connect to default port on perfect vision disqec 2/0/0

all three receivers would be set the same as above

Here is an example of how to connect and settings that would apply..note the top pic using SW21s..you would simply use diseqc settings instead if using those in place of SW21s
