I am looking for manual for the CW 600 S Premium. Still unable to scan so I am getting the correct EPG information and channel list. All I am getting is listed as Prog then a number. That is the same I get when I press the EPG button and it also says NO EPG. Know I am doing something wrong and figured if I can find a manual for the unit it might help me.

I think I need to find the factory file bin to start over and then follow the dirrections

Try putting on channel 239 and do a reboot switch in back off/on and let stay there for 5 minutes

I did try the channel 239 reboot and wait and still down. I did do a factory default and put in the CW600PV1.09_Reocrder_2_20_07.bin rebooted then put in the latest file, rescanned channels same info Prog and number but now all channels say scrambeled. I re-did the latest file but no help. I guess I have totally messed up this receiver. I looked and cannot see where I even still have auto roll. I am still totally lost unless the factory file bin I installed is not correct. I got it off the Captive works web site. I am thankful for any additional suggestions

I dont know if you have tried this but if it was mine this is what i would do! Load the factory firmware and then the updater,reboot than load latest bin file reboot and let it autoroll. If your sat settings are correct and your switch settings if you have a switchthan your time and zone settings,then rescan for channels.This should have you watching tv after it autorolls,let us know if this takes care of your problem!

I have the factory bin but not the updater where do I find that??? That is what I probably did not know, sure I didn't since I did not put it in after I installed the factory bin. At this point I will try anything and hope for the best. It was working fine till I accidentally hit the wrong buttons while I was not watching the system. Wrong remote in hand. Guess this old southern boy should pay better attention.

Stevega, thanks That is the loader I am already using thanks. Do I need to use an earlier loader virsion loader first?? Do you know if the Factory File I used was correct? CW600PV1.09_Reocrder_2_20_07.bin I know a receiver can be fried and wonder if I have really messed ours up. Guess this will teach me to really pay attention in the furure. Thanks again and any additional help will be greatly appreciated.

Does the 600P have a patch to enable like the 600s?
