V690 is not V690 but V689. It says so in System Information. I've loaded several times, but STB is freezing repeatedly and there's no audio.

Try doing a factory default, then load the factory bin, then hard reboot(power off from rear switch on your stb for 30 seconds then turn back on), then load the latest bin, do your set up, then auto scan, go to a chnl and wait till tv comes in.
Let us know if it works or not.

Thanks for your time. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated. It took three stabs, but the third time I loaded the new bin file via Serial instead of USB, and it was a charm. All is working now. Has been for the last hour or so. I may load all bin files via serial from now on, or try a new flash stick.
