I have a captain 8000 HD, can any body explain me what is Dongle?
I use my box like I buy, I need to do something
Now I buy an antenna dish 1000, what I need to do to get HD channel, I heard something about saltellite 129 but I can get signal, I just get to 110, 119, and nimic 91W
Sorry annoyance, but I am newes and don't undertand those thing?

1st ) do a factory default
2nd ) Load factory firmware
3rd ) unzip the attached file and slide it onto your usb stick
4th ) insert USb stick and upgrade your receiver
5th ) after upgrade has finished do a hard reboot again and attach cat5 Cable to the dongle and Null modem Cable to dongle and the receiver
6th ) go into Menu System options and Network Setup
7th ) Enable Network and exit to save System will now Hard Reboot Again
( The Final Reboot the receiver will detect your network settings )
8th ) Setup your sats and Scan as per your setup
9th ) enjoy your IKS

The captains only get hd from bev (82) so you will not get any hd on 129 with this box. Bev has gone to nag3 so at the moment there is no hd.
