Do Logitech universal remotes control Captain HD8000?

Does anyone use a Logitech universal remote? Is the Captain HD8000 fully supported? Inquiring minds want to know.

I use logitech 676 it's an awsome remote I was suprise how massive their compatibility and very easy to set up via USB (asuming your puter literate). They say they have like more than 250,000 diff. types of remote in their data banks. Their kinda pricey but worth it...º¿º...

Thanks for the quick reply lostboy!

Was the Captain HD8000 part of Logitech's list of downloadable supported remotes? ...or did you have to program it manually into the Logitiech remote? From your reply it sounds like the it was fully supported, but you didn't say for sure.

I don't use Captain STB but I check to see if it's in their list. This for the logitech 670 and 676 only diff is the 676 you can change the face plate it's in their list Captain 8000 HD and as to program it, not manually you have to connect it to your computer and install the the program for the 676 and connect to logitech to get the codes very easy if you are computer letterate...º¿º...

I recently got a Logitech 670 and it worked great with the Captain 8000HD and even my Fortec Lifetime Ultra. Codes were easy to install, however it took some time to setup, but was well worth the extra time.
