Hi guys, I put 660 from here on my 8000 and now can't change it! When I get the computer ready, loader ready, then turn on the 8000 it just stays on boot. The display on the loader says it's loading but the 8000 says it's not. When I disconnect it from the computer, it will boot up just fine. I've tried this with 3 different laptops with the same result. I though it may just be the receiver, so I tried my second 8000 with the same results! any ideas???????

Have you tried doing a factory reset first, then see if it will take the factory bin then the newest bin. And you could try deleating your bin and redownloading it from here maybe something hapened in the transfer.
Let me no if you get it or not.

Hi, yes I had done the factory reset, and downloaded the files again. The computer says its connected but when I download, nothing. right now, I'm watching channel 100, the problem is the receiver is turned off! Each time I've done the factory reset I've checked the system settings, each time it has showed that 660 is still on. I've checked this by scanning the sats, and then watching the channels, so it's not removing the program. If this was an isolated receiver I'd say it was the receiver but as it's happened to both my 8000HD's! The only common factor is that I put 660 on both! Any idea's? It's not worth the aggrivation of emailing Captain, they still haven't responded to an email I sent 2 months ago!

A quick follow up, I just switched on my 8000HD, and yes it was off. Now it's showing no or bad signal. I checked and my system settings are gone but not 660! I put in the sats again, didn't scan, and vole, I have the channels back.
