Hi All,

Are you guys having same trouble, my captian is down. connected to dongle green light shows server connectivity but it is showing scrambled channel. Channel did came back after half an hour and then goes down again.

Hello, my Captain 8000HD is also down same symptons as amminds.
Seems to me it must be the BIN, sugestions anyone ????

Hi Uncle Joe & amminds, mine is working here for both B&D, theres a few things you can try.
Try disabling the network and save let the stb reboot then go back into the menu and enable the network again.

If its still no go try unplugging the dongle and the Captain leave them off for 30seconds then plug the dongle back in. Leave it go for 2 minuets then power up the Captain again.(make sure the network is enabled)

And you could also try to unplug everything, your modem, router, dongle & the Captain. Then just like we did in the initial start uppower up your router let it get the green light then the router let it get the green then the dongle let it go for 2min. then plug the Captain back in.(Make sure the network is enabled)
Let me know if yous get them going or not.

Hello again, I went back and installed everything as per original instructions,factory reset both factory bin and april 23 bin about 3 times, loaded the chanels back in and all is well now
Thanks for the help guess i needed to be reminded of the setup instructions and put a little less trustin my memory

Nice work mental and uncle joe. My stb did show up but now i am having another trouble. freezing effects on most of the channel and some are not coming at all. I did not do the factory reset and hoping to get the solution otherwise ready for the factory reset.
