Easily convert to 2700A but, the the problem was always the DISEQC switch does not work but if you only use one satellite and scan, you will get 90% of channels with latest PUFF 262 file.
I tried this afternoon getting tv but missing some tp's. I jtagged the ariza 700 to vortex and then loaded the PUFF boot bin, then puff 262T. Works. Better than the box doing nothing. ttys... |

Does your ariza 700 have a jtag port? or does it just have the holes.
With the display away from you and cover off, the jtag port is to the back right. 20 pins. Most ariza 700's have the port and pins already there waiting for the jtag connector. Uses the SAME jtag as ALL 20 PIN jtags use. So look up 2500A jtag or 2700A jtag and it's the same. Back in January there were a whole bunch of conversion files. You just need to jtag the vortex jtag file and the ariza is now a vortex, pre-b75. So I simply loaded the PUFFbootbin, and then loaded the 2.62T puff bin, and it works. Not ALL the TP's so some missing channels but better than nothing. Maybe the 22khz switch still works as the diseqc does not, and perhaps you can get 2 sats in working rather than just one, as you can not use the diseqc selector. Let me know... |
