What the ruling means, and it was last year it happened, is that if you send a Viewsat in for repair, they have to remove the chip that shows what you have been watching and send it to Echostar along with your information. There is a file for wiping the chip clean but I don't know personally if it works. just don't have one repaired at Viewsat.
