Yes and you can alse have the sound from your lap top to the tv transmited you need a cable to do that I have one I am not sure that the cable is called if any one knows please let us know I use it works fine I use my 70' HDTV as a computer monitore when I am useing my lap top works fine for me and with thr HTMI in put itls like a high deff pc really give it a try guys
