If you are still having problems with the ihub.. Remember the server and ihub use is not so great right now..
Always power (toggle) OFF the receiver when plugging in the ihub or removing it..
What you can do is...
Toggle off the receiver
Remove or un-plug the Ethernet Cable
Toggle ON the receiver.... You will see NO ipconfig in Menu...
Now:
Toggle OFF the receiver
Plug in the ihub again
Toggle ON the receiver
(all this kind of re-sets)
Anyway now go into..Menu..ipconfig...
Settings:
Type Setting: DHCP
Local IP: This will pop in automativally
Local Port: 1920 (some users use 80 and it works)
Subnet: usually 255.255.255.0
Gateway: This pops in automatically
Use DNS: Yes
Domain Name: Pops in
Dns-IP: Believe this pops in automatically also
Server Port: 1920
Ser# (Verify it is correct)
Apply-- Be sure to apply settings
Next: Suggestion is to toggle OFF then ON the receiver again.
Note: With the latest ihub release after re-booting it seems to show "ihub connected" or some such statement.
